Cool rock n roll photos

Brilliant, they should know better. Not nitpicking your accuracy, just clarifying for the historical record.

Yeah, whoever compiled and/or fact checked those photos was a moron. Or a newbie. Or possibly both. The ‘beard’ pics were from around 1971. The Angel photos are fascinating. He had been a huge fan of the Yardbirds, and caught them(unknowingly)in their final days with the shots of Page and his Vox Phantom 12-string. When ‘they’ returned a few months later, he was shocked to find a while new band. They had been advertised as the “New Yardbirds” due to a standing contractual obligation, and the gigs served as a road test for the new line-up. The name was changed shortly thereafter; new band, new sound, new identity.

Saw a couple of PJ's gigs in California when she toured "To Bring You My Love" mid-nineties, and they are among the finest rock shows I've ever seen. I think that album is a classic head-to-tails and PJ and band were truly on point putting it across live. I seem to remember she was playing support, so the sets were probably 30-40 minutes in duration, which no doubt would have contributed to their concise pace and no-nonsense attitude. Sometimes less is more -- even in stage wear.

Preceding the pics in question was this quote from the article...

BBC said:
The book also features pictures of the band at other concerts photographed by Angel, seen below.
