Nope. Neil's song is great, but there was someone in my high school (around 1977) who said it in smart aleck answer to a question from a teacher. I always remembered it and found that it was very applicable for me these days too. Hence, my appropriation.

Love Hawkwind. That photo's got a real Ozric Tentacles vide going on. I own the long OOP fold-out CD packages for all of the early albums, up to, but sadly not including my fav (Warrior on the Edge of Time). Prized possessions, they are.

both bands have their core fan base and never get beyond generating the little interest they always have, I find them fantastic, they continue to evolve and be creative despite endless lineup changes and long past any original members. another in that small but amazing clique originated famously by Amon Duul, Guru Guru, etc is Agitation Free, guitarist Gingrich was always the stalwart but are still quite viable no matter who takes over. genius knows no bounds.

I got a chance to hang with Amon Düül II in Munich in '71 when I was stationed in Augsburg, 60 km away. Good times!

just heard Harvey 'Burley' Jett has hit the eternal road, here's hoping it's a smooth ride.
BOA will always fill half my jukebox choices, they were always on the radar for concerts in So. Cal, culminating in the granddaddy for that era, the first California Jam, Harv's last grand stand. he was out a month later by choice, but it was like another death in the family for me, now it's final. he was part of the fun (he's on the left), one of the nicest bunch of rock star partiers you could find and his daughter was a real babe. my thoughts are for his family now.
