Cort Artesian A5 in nearly new condition. As many others have said before, it plays as nice as some very expensive basses I've had and is made very well too. Has the original MK1 electronics, and custom wenge knobs to match the wenge strngers. The rosewood fretboard is extremely dark on this one, almost looks like ebony. Volume pot is noisy, cheapo gig bag included and it will be packed very well Looking for $350 + actual shipping. US sale only please No trades
I'm further south in port st lucie It is a nice bass indeed. The only thing I've never been thrilled with is the MK1 electronics, I like a more punchy sound. Thought about changing it but I'd rather put that $ towards a bass I like "as is" so the search continues. but the build quality is top notch and I've seen worse quality on basses I've owned that cost $1500-$3500. Never thought I'd sell it but you know how G.A.S. can be and I really want a nice Ibanez SR 5. From what I've read Cort used to make some of the Ibanez models as well as models for other brands.
Price dropped to $350 + actual shipping not interested in trades now... I just bought an Ibanez SR1605
How much does it weigh? I'm currently shopping for something similar to Ibanez SR505 in terms of weight.
So nice!!!! Helluva deal, don't let the Cort name steer you away, I've had a Cort bass and it was awesome and very well made.
my scale only goes to the nearest pound and it's showing 7lbs added to my weight when holding it, so its around 8lbs or just under. Not sure how accurate this scale is to be honest but it can't be far off
I found others being listed as just under 9lbs so I think that's more accurate. It feels about the same as the ibanez 1605 I just got, specs on that are just under 9lbs too
spacing at bridge is 16mm, and is adjustable from 15.5-16.5. spacing at nut 8.5mm. Total width of neck at the nut is 45mm
