Could someone lend a helping hand with a Cream article?

Hello-
I'm hoping one of you out there could help me. I've been searching for the issue of New Musical Express magazine c. 1968 with Cream featured in the Life-Lines section. Its a 6page feature where they fill out a little questionaire with their heights, fav foods, likes, dislikes, pets, etc. etc. EVERYBODY did one back then; Hendrix, The Who, Small Faces, but naturally I havent been able to find the one with Cream. Here's an example of the Keith Moon one: Invalid Link Removed

My parents didnt even met yet in 1968, so I was hoping someone out there might have a copy they could dust off that you'd be willing to either sell, scan or just copy down the info for me.
Thanks and I appreciate your help! :bassist:

I put the message out to music librarians everywhere, and the Center for Popular Music at Middle Tennessee State University turned out to own the span of NME involved. I got this message this morning, from the librarian who did the search:

<<"It looks like I've got bad news. We didn't find anything in the "Life-Lines" section or anywhere that fit the description. We searched 1966-1969, which should have been the time frame, since the band was formed in '66 and disbanded in Nov. '68.

We also wondered if "Its a 6page feature" actually referred to a *page 6* gossip column type feature, but the "Life-Lines" column wasn't consistently on any particular page.

It's always possible that we simply missed it. If you ever find a specific citation, I'll be glad to try again!">>

It's just about impossible to find a citation, though, because several people told me that NME isn't covered by any music index for that time period.
Sorry...

Wow, thanks a bunch for trying to help! I appreciate it! I do have some good news. I did finally find the article on a Cream forum at MSN. I clicked through the pages on indivdual members topics...and sure enough someone posted them in each members section! I dont know the exact date it was, but I could tell by the cover photo it was sometime in 1968, cause they all grew their hair out by that point. Ive seen LifeLines from other bands and they were always just a portion of the page and retyped. But Cream actually wrote their answers, so Im assuming each member got 2 pages. They needed more space so they could fit the answers. I kinda wish the info was retyped, because I cant read most of what they wrote! lol! But thanks again for trying to help!

Hi, Now I cant promise anything but! Mr Clapton still has residence just up the road from me and I might be cheeky enough to drop him a note to see if he keeps any old stuff. It is a bit rare for him to be seen but I can but try.
Another route I might try is Kenny Jones, ex small faces etc. I see him regular to speak to so he may well be able to find something. I will let you know.
