I've actually heard a smaller scale version of those years ago at the first Stereophile Hi-fi Show in Santa Monica, I think it was '87!
I see he even has a tube flux capacitor in there. Jeez, looks like that thing could blow you right back to the stone age.
The AG Trios have been around for years. The Duo setup I heard in Sydney a while back left me (a dedicated horn-y) incredibly underwhelmed.
The DIY horn speaker scene is well established, with a dedicated group of us designing and building systems.
