Could this have been built by the Mothman Luthier?

Some features I really dig, like the pickup and bridge covers. Plus he used some high quality parts (Nordstrand, Aggie, Gotoh, Hipshot)
But the overall body shape doesnt work for me. Guess I'm more traditional that I thought.

Also- I dont think this was made by the same guy who created Mothman. Mothman came from Ohio and this guy is in CA. Course, its always possible that the Mothman luthier relocated (to avoid repeated run-ins with deinzens of the netherworld)

As one formerly possessed by the Mothman, my initial thought was "NO" cos the Mothman wasnt really that well crafted..ie, screwed on wood panels, no inlays and such, BUT the headstock is quite similar in styling and awkwardness, and the rear pickup is INSANELY close to the bridge just like the Moth. Very well could be its bastard cousin.

Is it possible that The elder God's (Cthulu) luthery skill's have gotten better? Could it also be possible that there are more of the mothman's bretheren out there? I think that this calls for a 1 hour TV special, Narrated by Leonard Nimoy of course.

Why..I like them there,
look at the Rickenbacker 4005.
at Hofner Beatle Bass.
I want a bass with a PU at the extreme neck and at the extreme bridge.

A luithier routed a PU for me, I wanted at the bridge...he installed farther...he said he put it under a harmonic. FINE until you fret a note, then the harmonic has moved.
Sorry for the hijack....back to topic.
