Counterstrike/computer gamers

I know this has been done before, but I just recently came back to CS, and I know there's some out there who have changed locations, etc. Where do you all play?

I play at this server: soc.nuclearfallout.net:27015
OK admin, OK maps, not any real hackers that I've seen at all. Always has some playing after 3 or 4 in the afternoon, but rarely completely full so that you can't get in. Stats, too.

I'm going to try out: 209.160.67.229:27015 , but it's showing a ping of upper 80's right now with spikes, so who knows.

I just play on random servers. At this point in my CS 'career', I just prefer custom maps and iceworlds

If more people reply to this thread maybe we can all set up a time and a server to meet up on.

Sweet, maybe I'll play with you guys sometime. I'm not very good with pc shooters cause I suck with keyboard/mouse FPS, but it turns out my xbox 360 controller works quite dandy as a pc gamepad, and I do have CS:Source

man, i haven't played CS in a while. i can't wait until i get a new computer for xmas. i'll actually be able to react instead of lagging. i actually used to be fairly decent. i just wish CS had some sort of camoflauge feature; i'd make a great sniper.

I usually play Wolf ET but I'm having a server problem as of last night so what the heck. I know this is a dumb question but in the CS menu I'm not seeing where I enter in the server name if I want to designate the server to play on. Where is it?

You can put the IP into your favorites and then just join it from there.

I might get on in a few minutes. I haven't played in a while, though, so I'm horrible.

I've been into Counterstrike for a while now. I play on Aussie servers including Internode, iiNet, 3FL and my own ISP has ranked servers...and lots of hackers unfortunately. I don't think I'd get a good rate connecting to servers in the US

Since upgrading my video card I've noticed a general improvement in my game so have started getting back into it a lot.

My favourite CT map is cs_office and my favourite T map is de_dust2. I play normal or gungame mode. I don't play RPG mods at all and I am absolutely useless at Zombie Horde.

I think team work and covering ur teammates comes before heroism and unlike a lot of whingers I encounter I think both sniping with AWPs and camping are part of the tactical game.

That just about sums up my CS experience

I like gun games as well. The normal game is fun, but the only map that isn't "get an AWP and own everybody" is office and that's just camp fest.

ooooohhh I miss CS......! ROGER THAT. PizzaWithNoCheese checking STICK TOGETHER TEAM in here. I don't remember how to install it, I just remember that it was tricky enough HEADSHOT that my man had to help last time on my previous machine. Aaahhh the wasted hours.... friggin loved CS. NEED BACKUP!

I used to play more then my fair share of CS.

I first started playing when the original CS was in Beta 4 stage back in 1999.

I went to many LAN tournaments here in Iceland and I was a part of an Icelandic clan called [.Hate.] for quite a while. The clan was rated as one of the top 5 clans in the world at the time.

We were interviewed in the biggest newspaper here and whatnot.

I quit playing in 2002 because I spent too much time in it.

Nowadays I play CS and CS:Source occasionally, I suck now compared to the teenagers today.

I also dabble in Call of Duty 1 and 2 online.
