wats the diff between misc and off topic?

also something with "floyd and his barbershop quartet" would be a bad nirvana cover band name

Misc. is for topics that are still music related, but not necessarily about bass. Off topic is for topics that are not about music at all.

Not that I mind, personally, where someone puts a thread. Im sure a mod will move it to the appropriate place sooner or later.
