Does anyone know where I can get black J pickup covers without exposed pole pieces if such a thing exists.

Related question.... I see that we has the closed J covers, but where could I find closed MM covers?
Never seen them, but since wdmusic is affiliated with Kent Armstrong pickups (who make a closed cover MM pickup) it could be worth dropping them a line and see if they'll sell you a cover only.

You're not likely to find MM covers - the cover would make the pup larger which means it probably wouldn't fit the route. J pups with covers are designed with an allowance for them. You could have a wooden one made by about any luthier who could also route the bass to make it fit.
