I'm thinking seriously about getting one of these but can't find many reviews about them. I've also had a search on here and can't find a thread newer than 2011.
Does anyone on here have one of these or any experience of playing one.
I'm also thinking about fitting a set of flatwounds (probably d'addario chromes) and was wondering if I'd have any issues regarding string tension being too high or anything like that.

I don't have one but as a rule (for me) I would ask the manufacturer about the gauges because different tensions would mean you'd have to adjust the truss rod according to gauges/tensions every time you restrung.
