Hey everyone!
This is the demo for Crazy Tube Circuits Deranged pedal.
According to CTC :
To make the pedal a little more exciting and “crazy” we added analog gated fuzz with switchable -1,+1,+2 octaves. Transform any instrument into a raging and unpredictable synth!

You can use both effects simultaneously or independently via the two easily accessible footswitches. A dry out level control makes the effect perfectly suitable for guitar, bass or synthesizer / keyboards.

Hello, I never had the chance to try the Future Impact pedal. I'd say that it's familiar with the OC2 .For the extra octaves mix I used the neck pickup with rolled off tone and played single notes due to the fact of being an analog monophonic bit crusher. The "key" to the whole crush circuit is the crush input knob, aka sensitivity. Depending on the output of your instrument and your hand attack you need to adjust it accordingly for the best results.

Is this something that can be used as a compliment to the OC2?

I was really liking that super synthy, fuzz tone that you were using.

I haven't tried anything else combined with it. Check their website ;)

Two different things. As you mentioned the deranged is more synthy.

It's full analog, no dsp - ad/da converters.

I think I am pretty sold on this. I'd like to be able to use my oc-2 on it's own, and then have a pedal that can add to it at times or do it's own thing as well. It sounds like it keeps a really nice fundamental to it, and stays thick. Some synth pedals get really wide and huge but they lose that fat gooey fundamental. The OC-2 is so beloved, imo, because it keeps the definition and thickness of the note intact - very easy to record and not get buried in a mix.

Very late to this party but I've become interested in bitcrushing fuzz lately. With the Crush setting on -1 octave, how does it sound LOW on the neck? everything I've seen in these demos is pretty high up.
