Crowds

Whether it's several people or several thousand people, it's all good.

Playing to a few people in a small intimate setting has its challenges and rewards as does playing to a large mass of people. I prefer a smaller venue where I can just go acoustic (I only gig upright), but most of my gigs are small/med pub/club-sized where amplification is necessary. The few gigs that were concert-sized were fun, exciting, but with no butterflies or jitters. The weirdest thing was the huge amount of space between me and my bandmates. I'd like to keep doing the odd BIG gig, as variety is the spice I like.
