Crown Xli 1500 + VT bass rig

Looking to get the Crown Xli 1500 power and my VT bass DI to run as my bass amp.
I use 410 Eden cabs, 8 ohms 700w peak. I would mainly use it in bridge mono in one cab.

The power amp vt combo would be used heavily on gigs with multiple different cabs depending on the backline.

It would be most often for loud heavy music, so the headroom and power is a must.

I use an Ampeg SVT 4 pro at the moment, this would be my secondary rig.

Any recommendations towards this rig?

My friend is letting me try an old CE2000 he has laying around. I guess I’d stereo mode into an 810 cab.

The biggest concern is going to be whether the pre can properly feed the power amp, right? I think (I'm no expert) that comes down to the impedance of each. According to the Crown site the input impedance of that power amp is 20kΩ (nominal balanced), 10kΩ (unbalanced). I don't know what the output impedance of the VT is. I think (again, I'm no expert) that as long as these values are copacetic the thing at least won't blow up on you.

Whether the rig will sound good, or be too much or too little power for whatever backline cab you come across, I certainly don't know.

The VTDI has a boost to run power amps at line level.

Power amps have an input sensitivity of 1.4v at line level and some have a switch for instrument level that is 0.775v sensitivity.

So yes the VT DI can run pretty much any power amp.

Also more power and headroom is never a bad thing, just don’t crank everything up till you see the cones pop out.
