A few years go my wife, hard core cyclist had the opportunity to tour Cuba on her bike. I sent along a few dozen sets of bass and guitar strings. Apparently they were well recieved. As it appears the current administration is going to relax restrictions, I'd like to organize something like that again.

Do we have some Cuban Islanders on this site ? If so, please PM me.

Last time we were in Cuba, about 5-6 years ago, I brought down a number of sets of strings for both bass and guitar. They had a band in the main bar area daily and I just walked up to them and handed them multi sets of strings.
They were grateful beyond words.

Yeah. My wife found a music school on the west end of the island. They were really grateful.
