Fellow Cellar Dwellers!
I have ventured into "recording"...not recording as you know it but rather just trying to get the true sound of my Spector and the playalong track, while capturing high quality video. Wondering if any amongst you use the Steinberg Audio Interface? What about Cubase (comes with the Steinberg)
3 problems I've experienced so far
1. Constant clipping - I've adjusted volume and controls on both the interface and my bass but am still experiencing clipping. I figure I need to adjust the unit (input gain, mix gain, headphones) and my bass (treble, bass, front/back pickup volume)
2. I'm only hearing music in the right earphone on the playback...
3. Bass volume is really LOW on the playback. I'm sure there's somewhere I can adjust but not sure how
I figure all the interfaces and softwares come w/their own set of challenges...but if there's another that I should go back and exchange for, I'm open to doing that...
Any insight??
