I've been using Cubase since before there was such a thing as digital audio.
I upgraded to Cubase 5 many years ago, and it slowed down my creativity. Upgraded to 7 figuring it would help me get that creativity back, and it was a done deal. I hated it, never got the hang of it, and pretty much threw hundreds of dollars out the window.
Today I stumbled upon an old Cubase AI4 version (I don't even know what that means
), but figured I'd see what happened if I tried to load a 14 year old program onto my computer.
Eureka! It works perfectly! It gives me everything I used to love about digital recording! I can't even begin to express how happy I am to downgrade!
Thats's all.
Anyone with similar experiences? And if you're a Cubase Wiz, I have some other questions too...
