Curious...Rick on CL

looks real to me, but it's modded with an active pickup and no hard case. I won't touch it because of the irreversible mods (pickups, pickguard, wiring and rout in back). you could buy something original and stock only a few bucks more.
 
$900 is too much for a jacked-up 4003 (note that the seller calls it a 4001, but that is incorrect). I got a stock one--granted, it had some nicks and dings--for less than that. If it weren't for the back battery rout, I'd say it would be worth it, as you could get it back to "normal" fairly easily. But the back rout kills it for me. I'd offer $700 tops.
 
I'm definitely not buying it, have to put a sec. deposit down on my new apartment in July. I actually think it's not a bad deal if it plays really nice. Just wondering what the heck happened with the knobs???

I didn't think you'd have to move the knobs around if the pickups got replaced.
