Current Pricing for 2001 55-94?

I am thinking about selling my 55-94 (standard) but don’t how to price it. It is in excellent shape, ash body (clear finish), nice birdseye board, Bassline PUPs installed (original Barts in the Bassline box) light tan Lakland hardcase with warranty letter, extra B and E saddles and allen wrenches (2), and 3 pickguards: tort installed, clear, and white/black/white still with the protective tape installed.

It has full side and front red SIMs with a toggle and an extra battery box to run them installed. Total weight 8 lbs 13 oz (I believe it was closer to 8 lbs 8 oz with the Barts installed).

The only other change is the finish on the back of the neck was removed and Tung oil (?) coated. In any case, I just wipe it down with a microfiber cloth once in a while, it feels silky smooth.

I got this circa 2003/2004 but have noticed a change in prices since then (Laklands, Roscoes, Fbass, etc), and there is also the extras which I’m not sure to price. For example, what does full front and side SIMs do to the value?

Is it ok to post a forum like this here? I hope so, I really don’t know how else to get a feel for the value.

FWIW, I’m not selling because I don’t like the bass (look at my profile to see what it has beat out), and it is hard to sell a bass I’ve been playing for approximately 10 years, but I have finally realized I’m a P bass guy at heart, and prefer slighter wider neck spacing (yeah, it only took me 45 years to figure this out).

Don't get rid of it!!! I have more than one bass. Wife said I should sell the other one. I told her that they don't care if I spend time with the other. Then asked if she was that loving...yea the couch is my home right now!

These seem to be fetching between $1800 and $2200 here on TB. Good thing you kept the Barts, that's what most folks want and makes these basses sought after.

I actually prefer the Basslines, I find them punchier, the Barts are "darker"

I know, one of the LEDs appears to be out, SIMs told me one of the fiber optic cables may have slipped out of the bundle or is misaligned. It was never a big deal to me, but if I keep her (and leaning in that direction) I think I will reposition them so that only the 2 leds at that position are on, and all the rest on the front off (if that is an option). I find them all on a bit much for my conservative nature. They are so strong, you can almost see through my fingertips if I am fretting in that position. The sides I will leave all operational of course.

I only use them for some gigs so its hard to say, I think I've changed 3 batteries in 9 years. I'm to the point I don't much need to look at the board when I play. I've practiced with my eyes closed for 3-4 years now and have been doing lots of vocals so if I am going to cheat it is more likely to look at words.
