Got this in a trade here on TB from jtlee but I can't play anymore because of medical reasons. This is a custom build based on a Fender '51 P-Bass slab body. The Ash body and maple/rosewood neck are from Allparts. There is a Gotoh Bridge (I think it's the discontinued 203 model, not the usual 201), Seymour Duncan SB-2 pickup - very punchy and deep. The neck is finished with a Fender decal with a very dark brown finish on the headstock - it almost looks black and really goes well with the body color.
This bass is in condition - just a few light finish scratches. New round wounds Just put some new strings on it, action is set low. Frets are perfect. Used once for a home recording session but never left the house since I bought it.
