Custom artwork/colours for basses.

I was curious if anyone has customised colours or artwork done to their bass/basses? I am buying a streamer Jazzman second hand and it comes in a natural oil finish.

I was thinking of adding a cool colour(a stone look or black transparent colour) with 2 lightning bolts going through each other(green or blue).

As I never really see many weird designs on basses(I can only think of Trujillo's flames, wootens yin yang and claypools rainbow bass) Anybody out there get any customised ideas done to their basses?

How much would something like this typically cost?

Bump of old thread! I'm thinking of getting custom artwork done on my Thumb bass. Natural oil finish. What would I have to beware of? I have a local artist in mind who does awesome custom artwork on motorbikes who said he'd be willing to do it for free. How different is that from a bass? Would the varnish or finish be different? Help.
