This bass is a Kelvin Daly custom (also CT family). I contacted Kelvin about building me a subcontra 7 string (he loves odd projects) so he built me this 38” scale 7 string tuned E standard under E at 20.5hz strings are like cables yes.... the instrument is very clean and the notes can actually be easily distinguished (doesn’t sound floppy or like sloppy djent tuning)
I am 6’4” and this bass is very comfortable to play for any type of music.
