Can anyone recommend a builder who would do a custom expression pedal controlled clean blender pedal? Similar to the One Control Expressio but with a few key differences.
I tried Saturnworks but Bryan isn’t able to get me where I’m going, having a surprisingly hard time finding other options. Thanks.

Can you DIY? Any good with a soldering iron and assembly work?

Lots of schematics out there for blender/splitter circuits out there (like the Paralooper, for eg).

I have that one on the "bench"* currently.

* And by "bench", I mean it's in a box in storage with all my other projects (somewhere between 10 and 15) until I get into a house/condo with appropriate space to set-up y workshop again!

Can you tell us what you are trying to do? It sounds like you want a blender pedal that is controlled by a separate expression pedal, correct? What other parameters?

Basically, think of the Xotic X-blender with expression pedal control and strip away some features.

It would have two footswitches like the X-blender, one to engage the FX loop in parallel for expression pedal-controlled clean blend, and one footswitch that engages FX loop in series which ignores the expression pedal and is always 100% wet.

It would only have the two footswitches, a phase/polarity switch and a couple LEDs. I only need this for expression-controlled blending so a separate knob isn’t required, which is what makes the idea unique. A knob would only serve to take up more internal space and possibly get bumped/moved externally. No other EQ or boost features either. They’re very handy on the X-blender but not what I need for this application.

The One Control Expressio is also close to what I have in mind, it just lacks the second footswitch for putting the FX loop in series.

+3 Broughton could do it, for sure, if he's still taking on custom work.

I still haven’t heard back from Cog, Broughton is next on my list.
One thing that makes me hesitant about Wounded Paw is that none of their blenders have expression pedal control. Even the v3 and v4 blenders that have every other feature you could think of. I see that they make some blenders inside wah enclosures, but nothing they make is necessarily close to what I’m after.

I think it's hard to find because most people would think such features useless.
I know I would. The whole point of a blender pedal is to go continuously from bypass through parallel to series, without having to use a switch. Bypass and wet switches are redundant, much like a 3 way switch on a bass that already has a blend knob.

Admittedly, my situation is pretty specific. Here’s a rundown of the intended use:
I have a pedal that sounds perfectly good without a clean blend, but I’d also like to be able to blend it in and out with an expression pedal. More tonal options. With this two-footswitch pedal that I’m proposing, I would have the option to either step on one switch and be able to blend the pedal however I want via expression pedal, or step on the other switch and bring the pedal into my signal chain like normal without having to worry about where my expression pedal is set to.

I should note that my expression pedal is already controlling three other pedals on my board, so it’s not exactly ideal for it to need to be in “toe down” position in order for the pedal to be used normally.

I fibbed a bit when I said I was only blending in one pedal, it’s actually two that are/would be in the blended FX loop. One is the X&M, and I can’t help but think how sick this proposed pedal would look if I had [sfx] make it and Max could fit the necessary five jacks into one small box that would match and sit below the X&M:

I love utility pedals, this idea sounds great. I hope Max can make it happen for you.
