I have recently been diagnosed with cancer and I'm going to have to try to liquidate most all of my basses to help cover the cost of my surgery and treatment. As a result I will be listing several basses here on TalkBass over the next week.
This is a custom built Brooklyn 5 String made by luthier, Hajime Hirose in Japan as part of a joint venture with Ken Smith. Hajime personally builds each of the Ken Smith Hadrien Feraud Models. He is a "world class" luthier with amazing skills!
Here's a link that references Hajime and these custom Brooklyn basses he builds!

I bought this bass new for over $3K from Brian at The Low End in 2009. It's a true boutique 5 string jazz bass along the lines of a Celinder, Alleva Coppolo, Sadowsky NYC or Fodera.
Here are the specs:
All in all, a completely remarkable instrument with no issues of any kind. And, the tone is totally "off the charts" and what you would expect from an instrument of this caliber. This bass has been babied all it's life and it's in virtually mint condition.
$2,100.00 OBO Shipped and Insured in the CONUS!
Trade value is still $2,500.00
Thanks for looking.....
