Anyone know a place that makes custom ordered pickguards?? Looking for something for a Peavey Zodiac but haven't had any luck

You that you should not have high expectations for ANY replacement pickguard to retrofit perfectly.

A couple years ago I ordered a custom pickguard for my 1980 Music Man Sabre. Ordered from Pickguard Heaven. They did a really nice job. I think I paid about $65 for it, including shipping.
This past February, I ordered a custom tort pickguard for my 1979 sunburst Music Man Sabre. Ordered from Dazbootman. Still waiting. Just sent them the THIRD email asking for estimated delivery. In this last email I clearly stated that if I don't hear something back from them by Monday, May 13th i will have my credit card company reverse the transaction and I will be reporting this issue to PayPal and BBB.
Then I'll go back to Pickguard Heaven like I shoulda done in the first place.

I just recently ordered from Pickguard Heaven, I'll post how that turns out when I receive it. On a slight detour, nice bass malthumb. What's the deal with the brass and chrome bridge saddles?
Dunno. Came to me that way. Also came to me with a brass nut, which I love and a mirrored pickguard for which I had no love. And thusly, it was replaced by the golden brown tort.

GROSS! That mirrored pickguard is hideous, your new one was a definite IMPROVEMENT haha. What was the material number for that brown tortoise shell? I think that would look good on my Peavey but I might go with gold tortoise
Yep, the new tort is a def improvement. I had a black Sabre in the early '80's, but chrome saddles and a white plastic nut. Just curious if the different saddles served a purpose. OP, check out Pickguard Heaven's website. Lots of nice patterns.
Just got my custom pickguard from Pickguard Heaven. I read some reviews about bad customer service, so I was a little worried. When I emailed inquiring about specifics, Adrian was very quick to respond and answer questions. Placed the order, shipped them my old pickguard as a template and waited. Two weeks later, sent an email to confirm that they received my original. Heard nothing. Waited a few more weeks and was getting ready to pick up the phone to call, when I received a UPS shipment notification. Both pickguards came back and the custom was flawless. Since I replaced the neck on the bass, I did have to trim the pocket a little, but all screw holes lined up, it was beveled in the areas I requested and I couldn't be happier with it. Bottom line, they do great work. Perhaps not the best at communication, but I figure, don't bother them and let them do their job.
Also just received a pickguard from pickguard heaven. I wanted one of the pickup routs move a little bit.
Needed some filing around the neck pocket to get the fit right, but otherwise worked out great.

I had a good experience with Jeannie's Pickguards. But _call_ and talk to the guy. That's the best way to make sure it'll fit right.
Seems like around $88 bucks with shipping. It was one of their primo materials.
