Cutaway question.

Hi folks..

Just wondering if there is a minimum measurement that is required for a functional cutaway?

Sketching up a 5 string AUB-1'ish 26fret fretless with a continuing fretboard/ramp covering the PU's..

Even though it probably would be a neckthrough design.. The cutaway seems a bit to narrow..

You need to get an idea of the space your hand takes up when playing at those positions. Most basses have between 2.5" and 4" between the neck and the inside of the lower horn, so take that into consideration along with the amount of space you require to play comfortable at those positions on the FB.
