Have not read the book, but I've heard enough about it to know it's about the supposed bloodline of Jesus. What's interesting to me is, Jesus had brothers and sisters who presumably married and had children, grandchrildren, etc. That being so, I'm wondering how many people are alive today who could theoretically trace their ancestry back to one of Jesus' siblings, and therefore to Mary and Joseph?

Regardless of whether Jesus got married and have kids, presumably there would be relatives of Jesus (ie cousins) and the disciples who actually did pass on real ancestory such that there would be people who could claim to be related to Jesus or the disciples today. For example, Jesus' mum may have had brothers or sisters who had kids and passed on a blood line which is part Jesus!
