D'addario Bass Strings

Mr. Johnsen, I have enjoyed your playing for some time and it's great to see you here among us. I remember reading a Bass Player Mag. interview you did a few years back and you mentioned you used the D'addario Half-rounds on a few of your basses and I was wondering, since the strings have gone to pure nickel what do you think of them now and do you still use them ? I used to love the old stainles steel version and am not diggin the change. Just thougt I would run it by ya. Thanks

I don't know if I've put any of the new nickel ones on, to be honest. Haven't felt compelled to change any of those strings yet, will be interesting to see how they sound/feel when I put some on.
