Danelectro 6 string Bass

There was 6-string Shorthorn, and I think Longhorn. Maybe also of the U/single-cut?

But if you ask in the Danelectro Owners Club thread, someone will know.

I think that's the one the OP is referring to. 1956(!)-1959(?). The Danelectro designation was UB2.

I've seen mentions of a one-pickup version as well, allegedly named UB1 (mirroring the guitar versions, to wit U1 and U2), but never even a single picture of one and I'm not really sure it ever existed.
(Anyone own a copy of Neptune Bound by the way? I'm eventually going to, but not yet...)

The corresponding Silvertone model was the 1373 (made from 1958 to 1960 or thereabouts).
