Played one for a tiny bit at Sam Ash today. Everything was as you'd expect, but it didn't feel right to me (I'm a Jazz bass guy) so I put it back.

Didn't realize it was a new product.

Almost bought one at a pawn shop in the early '70's. Probably about $80. Would've been a lot of money for me a the time.

Just couldn't love the look. Ended up with a P-bass that was unplayable due to neck issues. (Though I probably could have fixed it...just didn't know it.)

I like this color combo better. That one was red and white burst.

Light, odd looking, and country-ish styling. Which is what I wear onstage alot.

With an LH1000 I can dial in the tone.

Those who have played them, are you sure it was a "Dead On '58"? Musician's Friend only has them for "pre-order", which suggests that they're not available yet.

Things are usually available for sale well before they actually hit online stores as stores display merch as soon as they get it.
