Dark, Heavy OD's and Fuzz

As far as a clean boosts go, I recommend the Rothwell Atomic Booster. It has a treble boost, which is actually a mild bass cut. I find it keeps things nice and controlled because you don't get this massive increase low end when you engage the pedal. Treble boost all the way off gives you a transparent boost with no low end roll off. And the low end roll off is barely noticeable if you turn up the treble boost control.

I just listened to a demo of the SFX Micro-Fuzz and it sounds pretty damn dark depending on the settings. I'd check that one out as well. Seriously considering ordering one myself.

I bought and traded a Dark Driving(dd was awesome) because I couldn't get it to play well with my vt deluxe, traded for a grey stache which I also love and realized that my vt deluxe was the problem as it wanted to make everything sound like an ampeg. So... vt sold mcneece fuzz purchased (epic evil alien hate fuzz) which stacks well with grey stache AND THEN a hematoma is en route. If the hematoma doesnt satisfy I'm going to try the DD again. Last 4 months have been a ridiculous mixing and matching, GAS induced ride. A good always on od that stacks with my fuzzes is all thats left. Sooooo...

I really appreciate everyone's input, TB has been an invaluable resource.
