Dark Mode suggestion

I’m a fan of “dark mode” for most apps on most of my devices. TB has 2 Dark Mode options. One displays thread titles in blue, the other displays them in orange.

When one of those threads is opened, the text in the posts displays as white on a black background. The text I’m typing right now is white on a black background. White on black “pops” and is easy to read.

Personally I find the blue on black and orange on black for thread titles kind of hard to read. They don’t “pop”, not enough contrast. I think it might improve the dark mode readability if the text was all in white.

Mine display "pops" with the yellow real well, blue too. Might need to adjust your monitor or pickup a higher res model.

I mostly use a 27” iMac with the 5K display. I’m pretty sure that’s not the issue. Right now I’m on my iPad. If I raise the brightness to max the text does pop more but it’s too bright overall.

Maybe it’s just my old eyes. But if there was a TB option for Dark Mode with white text, that would be my choice.

As our eyes age, we typically lose the ability to see the color blue well. Most people over 50 are affected to some degree. I don't know that that's your issue, but your opthamologist can tell you easily enough. Personally, I prefer green text on a black background.
