They haven’t had battery power as an option in any DG pedal ever produced as far as I know, and that sentiment is pretty normalized at this point

The B7KU bypass light is counterintuitive: when it is lit, the pedal is NOT bypassed.

yeah, as i said it makes sense that new ownership would want to do that.

i missed the “no batteries for environmental reasons.” Does it run on a standard 9v power supply? That was another criticism

total marketing spin though.

DG claims these micro pedals were in the works since before the Korg deal, and my understanding is that Korg at least for now is letting DG just do it’s thing but with the added benefit of a whole lot more resources to make it all happen.

Pedal companies if all sorts have been saying the “no batteries for environmental reasons” thing for over a decade now, and DG is still based and built in Finland where environmental concerns are generally taken a bit more seriously by the general populace.

Yep, and the distortion wont engage if it is indeed bypassed. I wonder what other distortion pedals might be worth a look, with similar characteristics however?
