Darkglass preamp question.

I have a Marcus Miller Jazz and want to replace the pre with a Darkglass. I have 4 open holes in the bass, and I’m curious if this stacked pot will work for the Darkglass preamp. Noll 50K Stacked Tone/Tone Control - Best Bass Gear
I’m unsure, and done see anything online, but it appears the solderless connections on the pre might be able to still be used with this pot. Does anyone have experience or knowledge of this being possible with those type terminals?

I'm assuming you want to replace 2 of the tone pots with a single stacked pot?
I doubt that the Darkglass clips would be spaced the same as the Noll pot's terminals are, the Noll looks wider. You could always cut and solder to the Noll, though, that would work.

Though at that point, you could buy a stacked Volume/Volume pot and run that into the Darkglass. The knobs are more standard for those and it would likely be cheaper, too.

Well that would be interesting! I love my MM jazz a ton but the original preamp isn't good at all. I don't know technically how the pots would work but if you do it I'd be very interested to hear what you think.

I have the DG tone capsule in my Dingwall basses and after I adapted I ended up liking the low mids/high mids thing but I will say if you have a very good ear and want to really dial things in the one complaint I have is the taper - they are a little jumpy and not as fine as I would like. I know someone else with a very good ear that thinks the same thing. For most people it's not a big deal but it's worth throwing it out there.
