Darkglass Tone Capsule Compatibility

Hi, just wondering if someone can help me out in figuring out (because I’m too lazy to look it up) if the Darkglass TC onboard preamp is compatible with any pickup and control configuration?

I have a passive bass with a 3 controls (master tone, volume - bridge, volume - neck) and am looking into installing one of these bad boys to add a wider tonal range for this bass.

It will work with active or passive pickups. You will need either stacked pots or room for 5 controls, Volume, blend, bass, mid 1, mid 2
