Just got this in the mail. I bought it on the advice from Sam Reese and Mark Gollihur, both of whom said it barely changed the treble. They were right. Paired with my Krivo pickup and Line-6 G10 wireless, this just makes everything fit. I now have a volume knob in a handy place. Looks good and sounds excellent. Now I can stop screwing around with my gear. Life is good!

Actually, you don't need wireless to spin your dance partner. With a cable, one must know how to spin counter-clockwise to uncoil it -or- lift the bass off the floor to "free" the spun cabling. I also gave my BP-100 away. I'm pretty sure it helped jumpstart a worthy young bassist's career.

My luthier, Michael Magee is steadfast on the "New York City wrap" where you tie off the cable on the tailpiece- advising that it is far cheaper to replace the cable than the other damage that could occur. I always tie my cable off. By the way 9Thumbs, I'm sure your dance partner never misses a move that you make! Enjoy your new volume knob. I used mine today (in concert).
