"Days" by Television

When I saw Television perform, it was hard to disentangle the parts. It was as if rather than four guys separately playing in a band, four guys were playing the band as an instrument. Definitely one of my faves. (Got to see Tom Verlaine play with Patti Smith once, too.)
As far as those little solo breaks, Verlaine first(1:15), then Lloyd(2:11); as far as the rest, I'd guess Verlaine is doing the song riff, Lloyd the chords. The only tune on the album that Lloyd had a hand in writing. The first time I saw them was as the opening act on Peter Gabriel's first solo album tour(with Fripp, Hunter, Levin, and Marotta); the prog head Genesis fans could not process them, I loved the discomfort.
I'm not positive, but it seems like I hear the "riff guitar" playing while the first solo was playing. Which causes me to think the Lloyd played the main riff.
I need caffeine though. I can barely type right now.
They did a bit of overdubbing, it wasn't like someone dropped out on their song part to do a solo. Even on the Marquee Moon album, there are moments where you're actually hearing three or four guitar parts. Live, of course, it was a different matter.
