Dayton speaker in Rumble 100 combo?

I have Rumble 40 and Rumble 100 combos. I've replaced the speaker in the 40 with a Dayton PA255-8, inspired by a post by AstroSonic, and I think it sounds great.

I've replaced the Rumble 100 speaker with an Eminence S2010 mounted on an adapter board. But I prefer the tone I'm getting with the Dayton in the 40. If I wanted to get approximately that same sound with the 100, would the PA255-8 work well? If so, could AstroSonic or someone else knowledgeable suggest the length of ports?

Or would the 12" Dayton PA310-8 be better in the larger 100 cabinet?

Rumble 100 uses a 12"?
Ill assume its a somewhat small volume. maybe around 1.4 to 1.6 cu ft
but to calculate port length the actual cabinet volume is needed.
Just need to measure height width and depth on the inside of the cabinet, not exterior.
Tuning would be set around the driver Fs or resonate frequency.

I calculated the internal CF as 1.584 (this is net of the amp enclosure inside the main box - is that the correct way to do it?) The ports are 2.75" ID. The FS per the spec sheet for the Dayton PA310-8 appears to be 39Hz.

Yes the stock speaker for the Rumble 100 is 12".

There's a offshoot of the DIY coffeehouse 10 thread using those Dayton 12's iirc. Pretty small cab so it should work out.
