DB210 + DB112 ??

Anyone tried this setup?

I'm considering selling my DB410 cause i'm tired of the weight. So a combination of these two would be super modular but would it be loud enough for a rock band? Or would I be better off with a 212 + 210 pairing?

Thanks Bill.

Speaker coupling I would guess...? For volume or for quality of sound and how would it be different than Justin Meldal-Johnsen's rig consisting of an 810 and 412?? Number of drivers per box??

If he's on a big-ass stage and you're only hearing his bass through the PA or through computer speakers from a recording, then what speaker cabinet setup he's using is irrelevent because he's the only one really hearing them. What you hear is a miced or direct signal.

I didn't hear it. I'm basing myself on him saying that the match up of the two cabs sounds killer. I'm just wondering if the same match-up at a smaller scale would be as killer. I initially wanted to pair my 410 with a 212 but as i'm tired of haulling the 100lbs 410 I was considering going smaller.

i recently picked up a db210 in a trade. sounds great. my idea is to stand it up
tall ways & get one more to put on top for a tall skinny stack. think half an 810--
-the left half. (or the right half)

matching cabs is the way to go i think. keeps things simple as far as eq goes...

these db210 cabs are not light though. swr has a new 38 lb 210 box i would
like to listen to
