A few weeks ago, I bought this bass from BassLineJam.

He sold it with no pickups or electronics for a really nice price.

I took everything apart and cleaned it all up and dropped in a set of EMG 35J's with an Aguilar OBP-2 preamp. Played it at 2 rehearsals and it's really nice.

For those of you that are not familiar with these basses, they are made in the Czech Republic in (i believe) the same factory as Euro Spector basses. The neck feels great and it sounds killer. Nice weight and balances well.

Unfortunately, the resale value on these basses is not that great for sellers but for you guys looking for a nice bass at a great price, the Euro Deans may be up your alley. There is a nice Bolt on 5 string in the Classifieds....

Here are a couple of pics. I was only able to take 2 before my battery died....

Hey Nino - I see it cleaned up really nice! I think the wenge board really gives these basses a distinctive snap, and the overall craftsmanship is far beyond what you would expect from a (supposedly) lowly Dean. Glad it ended up in your capable hands.

Cheers
