I've been looking at short scale basses and came upon the Dean Evo with a 30" scale. Has anyone handled one of these who could give me some information on it, i.e. weight, nut width, type of neck and whether it suffers from neck dive?
I have one, and it's good for the money. Generally, I don't like playing instruments other than my main bass (Homebuilt P-bass with a J neck). I bought the Dean from Musician's friend a while back, and it's a good buy. I recommend getting a good setup done. I don't have any of the info you asked for, since I'm at work, but I'll look into it.
