I actually love it, and it's so inexpensive that I have half a notion to keep it, but it's really just about simplifying and only keeping a couple basses around. I will say, when I put the news strings on the other day I was VERY tempted to pull this listing down, but I just don't play it enough. I used to want to have a style bass for every one of my idols (e.g., a Geddy Jazz, a scroll like Les Claypool, etc.) but the more I play and practice the more I just turn to my Ash jazz.
Well for me it kind of defeates the purpose ...that is ...it gets expensive with the dollar difference (Can vs US) plus shipping and taxes. Still like to find one here in Canada some day
Absolutely, totally understandable. I set it up properly last night and jammed with some Who songs, I reckon I'm just gonna keep it for now. It's a great bass.
Ive owned several of these and the are EXCELLENT basses.
Think explorer but balanced not heavy.
Active electronics gives you allot of tone choices.
I liked them so much I bought one for my son too.
Really great basses !!
