Double Bass Dean Pace EUB megathread

Good to see the Pace Megathread is still alive and there is continuing interest in the instrument. (Ah the early 2000's when "Megathread" was quite the thing on Talkbass! 
) Someone quoted a post of mine and I saw it in my notifications, so I thought I'd check to see what was happening here.
The instrument is still in production in 2020. MSRP is $499. Dean is also still making the Contra Bass at $729.
I have not been in touch with Michael Donner in years. I think I will try to call him at Guitar Repair of Tampa Bay and say hello. Looks like he is still there, based on [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] info. Mick was reportedly on Talkbass a while back, but he didn't post here and I don't see any usernames that look like him.
