Equality in general as an argument will likely never go away. Someone's always going to be different. Race, skin tone, language, religion, denomination, sexual orientation, cultural tradition, intelligence, talent, income, cost of living, social network... Someone's always at an advantage, and someone always claims a disadvantage because of something that shouldn't matter. However, some of these differences really do matter.

I guarantee you, the way things are headed, a musician is going to get turned down for a spot in the band in favor of a more highly-skilled player, and argue discrimination based on talent... SUCCESSFULLY.
