Akai Deep Impact SB1
This has seen some time on a pedal board and has some scratches. However, it works perfectly and has the original power supply.
$800 shipped insured to your door lower 48 states.

I get it. However, the other one for sale at $800 is in the same condition w/o the original US power supply. One in perfect shape went for $850 in a day. They go for $950 to over a grand on eBay.

It's all cool though. I'm not in a hurry nor do I need to sell. I bought this from MF years ago on clearance (I won't mention the price there). I feel lucky to have it but I never use it anymore. Hopefully somebody else will want it for what seems to be the current going rate and will actually use it. If not, back to the closet for another couple of years and I'll see what happens.

FWIW, I was blown away 2-3 years ago when they were going for $400 and almost sold it then.

That is the going rate it seems. The market for used gear is rough right now. Buyers market for sure. Good luck with the sale!

yea, if it is MF clearance, it should be less than $200

For the same reasons others prefer to sell/buy on TB.

It was a good enough deal back then to buy it as something I had never heard before. Fortunately I was extremely pleased when I received it and as such held on to it all this time. It was probably one of the luckiest buys I've ever made. It's a killer sounding pedal and makes me smile whenever I hear it through a festival size PA. Unfortunately, my current work doesn't call for those types of sounds.

just sit tight, $800is not a outrage price of this pedal since it had become a collection piece. and yea it is really a luck to be the owner of sb1.

I've seen these sell for MORE than $800 in considerably worse condition. The OP's asking price is pretty much on target as far as I'm concerned.
