I saw this last night, it's awesome. Personally, I think a Def Leppard tribute band should get their drummer to tuck his arm inside his shirt and play with pedals... I don't think it's in bad taste, I think it's more of a celebration of Rick Allen and the obstacles he overcame. It was a horrible and unfortunate accident but he pulled through, it didn't stop him and in fact it made him an icon! I feel there's nothing wrong with them drawing attention to it.

I think is pretty tasteless, there was plenty of material recorded before the crash as well.
Could've been even better material IMHO.

Kudos to Rick for pulling through in any case though.

BTW, Jive's joke is pure gold in that other thread .
