Delano Jay Ray & Hybrid Pickups, experiences and sound?

Hi all, cont find much info on either of these pickups so seeing if anyone has any experiences. Even Delano doesn’t have a proper description of the JayRay but I understand that one would be hum cancelling in all modes.

A few demos I’ve found seem to use Delano JayRay and Hybrid interchangeably, has anyone has any experience of the difference in sound?

Can anyone who’s had the JayRay in the MM sweet spot attest to how close it sounds to a ‘proper’ alnico MM pickup?

Has anyone used a pair to get a combination of sounds like double bucker and Dual single coil?

If the bridge pickup is in MM position the jazz single coil will be slightly too far from the bridge, any experience on how much this affects the jazz bass tone?

All info/experience on these welcome!

Im looking for the same thing and I haven’t been able to find anything really relevant. As you said, the J pickup would be way to close to the neck. According to my own calculations, the Haeussel Triplebucker would sit the J pickup between the 60s and 70s position if you put it in the MM sweespot. Not ideal but appears to be better
