Delay Pedal?

Im going to throw the Rocktron Short timer into the mix. I find it better sounding than any of the Boss delays, with the possible exception of the DD20. You wont get a crazy long delay but you have the option of 'Short' and 'Shorter' on the pedal. Again, the delay isnt super long but Ive never found a need to have it maxed. I almost forgot to mention, it can be had for VERY cheap. Well under 100 bones but worth way more.

I am kind of curious about the Guyatone now though...

if your drummer plays to a metronome, then DEFINATELY go for the dd-20. you can dial in the exact bpm you want.

Sweet. Thanks a lot everyone. Every question I've had on this site gets answered so fast. I'm gonna hit up guitar center and try a few of these out. I had a Boss digital delay pedal i found in my house a few years ago. But i didnt play anything at the time so i sold it on ebay and got $79.00 for it. I don't remember what it was.

If you hit up Guitar Center, make sure to haggle them down. I'll bet you you can get a DD-20 for $150. Then you'll have to buy a switch, but I'd recommend something that's not the FS-5U. I really can't dig the boss footswitches, more out of personal preference than anything.

actually: the DD20 is at a very low price right now (ie, no margin. no "room to move."). you absolutely will NOT be able to get it for $150. the best you can do is refer to the fact that MF has free shipping available, which means you can get one for $180 out the door (a price-match your friendly GC staff will gladly do).

Beans, please check your sources again, and in the future, be sure of what you're talking about before making wild assumptions.
