I got in a little over my head (again), and I need to realize that I am just NOT going to schlep rack rigs to the kinds of gigs I do. Oh well!
Demeter Minnie 800D rackmount, purchased new just a few months ago, has never left the house and has been used very sparingly. I bought it to go with a rack pre (Broughton Archetype) which I now no longer have.
This power amp sounds amazing. I made a comparison recording of this against the same class D ICE units in two other integrated heads, and for whatever reason the Demeter has a little extra something, some special sauce. (Something to do with limiting/HPF, maybe? Idk.)
Paid $1,200 plus tax and shipping a few months ago. $975 plus shipping
I prefer cash, but would consider some trades (equal or +/- cash as necessary): the non-rackmount version of this, an older Walter Woods, maybe a TecAmp Puma 500/900, an Audiokinesis Thunderchild 12, a Wizzy M-line 12, one of those new Fuchs amps. And as always, if you have a Trace Elliott Twin Valve (head or combo), you have my undivided attention.
