i do. build quality is good but have seen better.
The ones i saw were copies of other makers. They were fine basses though.
Sound is subjective so cant tell you what is right or wrong.
Price is okay. depends on the exchange rate.
personally would go for s. martyn if you're in Brazil.

How about Cicero guitars? I've seen a number of those basses posted on Facebook. They're also based in Brazil.
Sorry, I only came across a few custom shop luthiers like the De Oliveira, D Mark, Eliezar Lara, M Laghus and S Martyn. I was told that De Oliveira ,D Mark were some of the better ones and S Martyn was one of the best. Personally i liked S Martyn best. S Martyn was actually working on their own preamp and I respect that.
Eliezar Lara I played was much more focused on tone. It wasn't a universal tool like the others. It was really nice and if I remember correctly the price was higher than the others.
The custom shops make nice equipment but you actually have to go to the actual luthiers workshop to see first hand since so few people actually own the equipment and these guys don't sell through guitar center equivalent of Brazil.
I was lucky that the stores I went to in Sao Paulo had some used equipment but the store owners told me that it's rare that any store carries them. Most of the guitars I saw were cheap Toby, Ibanez, and some local stuff. Things aren't really cheap in Brazil and import tax is high so they copy a lot of other people's work. Lots of people copy Fodera.
Picks were cheap though. LOL Also straps. Leather straps. It's become very hard to justify buying 50-60 dollar strap when I saw 15-20 dollar leather straps in Brazil of equal quality. Next year I think I'll just go buy a bunch of them straps. LOL

My deOliveira Dream KF just arived last week, it is beautiful.
It is a five strings, active jazz bass, body and top made from brazilian woods, and a maple neck. Bartolini CB57 pickups and deOliveira preamp, with controls: bridge pup vol, neck pup vol, bass, mid, treble, active/passive switch, mid boost switch, and an tone control that works on active and passive modes.
My impressions? ITS THE MOST F****** VERSATILE BEAST I EVER PLAYED.
Too many tones with super lows and bright definition, it is amazing. I did an demo, take a listen it here:
