if you could recommend ONE and ONLY ONE disc, album. what would it be?? An album or multiple disc "album" that you WILL NEVER EVER EVER GET TIRED OF HEARING.

PLEASE no "box sets", double disc "hits" collection might be o.k.

I thnk the album that I listen the more often is in fact a dvd!

So for me it would be secret world/Tony Levin
With a guy singing, can't remember his name :D

What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits.

Either that or Countdown to Ecstacy.
  7. mine would be either a live phish concert, a live Grateful Dead concert, or a live Jacob Fred Jazz Oddysey concert cd

however, emils has a good idea--I'd like a "how to build a raft out of sand" audio cd :)

On a desert island I think I'd want to hear Rachmaninov Piano Concertos 2 & 3 by Vladimir Ashkenazy w/ Kiril Kondrashin (Moscow Symphony) & Anatole Fistoulari (London Symphony). Great performances.

I love Back in Black but if I were on an island this would be it. Or Kind of Blue.

Or Heavy Weather by Weather Report. It'd be a close toss up and I'd be happy with either.
